41st ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (2018-2019)

Respected Members of MANSA,
Luminaries & Stalwarts of our Industry,
Past Presidents & my Predecessors,
The Current EC Members,
Colleagues and Friends,
Ladies and Gentlemen,

• I would like to thank you all for taking out the time from your busy schedule to attend this meeting, which in my opinion is one of the most important gathering we attend during the year…
• On behalf of the Current Executive committee, I would like to welcome you all to the 41st Annual General Body Meeting of MANSA.
• It is my greatest honour to be a part of an esteemed organisation like MANSA which has been serving the shipping fraternity in India since last 40+ years
• When I took over as President last year, my main agenda was to work on the following areas, apart from representing the trade fraternity on various issues
• Increasing Memberships
• Social media coverage
• Collection of funds to increase MANSA activities etc
• You’ll be happy to know, we have managed to get 13 new members out of which 6 have already paid & 7 are in the process of payment which is a big achievement for us, I think
• We have also created MANSA’s account on social media platforms like Facebook, twitter & LinkedIn, where we got 2 enquiries from the companies to become MANSA members, discussions are in progress. We also have members from Kolkata, New Delhi etc., this Social media has given MANSA a great exposure all over India
• Our Regional clusters are also activated & operational now.
